This session explores how we may need to rethink our relationships across the library and information industry and with end users, as well as what privacy, data literacy, and consent even mean in a networked and surveillance society.

Introducing the Coalition for Seamless Access: delivering a simpler, privacy-preserving access experience

This session explores how SeamlessAccess.org, a new cross-industry coalition, is improving access for research and scholarship through federated identity management. The discussion focuses on data privacy in particular, and includes a demo of the improved access experience.
