We’re delighted to share the news that Digital Science has selected LibLynx to manage customer Single Sign-On (SSO) across its portfolio of companies, beginning in February 2018 with ReadCube.

This allows Digital Science to deliver a faster, seamless login experience. Users of Digital Science will be able to access multiple products, with only a single login at the first point of entry, creating a centralized, scalable solution that will replace multiple SSO implementations across the portfolio.

“We are pleased to partner with LibLynx to provide a more seamless login experience that will keep up with our plans for growth and diversification” Robert McGrath, CEO of ReadCube

Access will be simplified by enabling support for a wide variety of SSO technologies, including Shibboleth, ADFS, LDAP, CAS, and other proprietary 3rd party identity solutions.

Our authentication API provides Digital Science with a standardized method for confirming a user’s institutional affiliation that is independent of customer type, platform technology, and the authentication methods required.

Additional SSO solutions can be deployed without requiring any changes within Digital Science applications. This ensure a consistent experience for users even as the Digital Science portfolio grows in size and complexity.

“Digital Science platforms and tools are developed by the scholarly community for the community, so fast, simple access for our users is incredibly important to us,” said Robert McGrath, CEO of ReadCube, ‘We are pleased to partner with LibLynx to provide a more seamless login experience that will keep up with our plans for growth and diversification.”
