Above are pictured some of the LibLynx team, doing things we love. We put the same level of energy and passion into our work too, and we’re replenishing our team – with a Senior Backend Engineer. Could this be YOU?
You’ll be joining our lean, fully-remote, collaborative team, based in Europe and US timezones, and be critical in building out the LibLynx platform and products; including our authentication and identity services, our web-based admin portal, an analytics pipeline, and usage reporting.
We offer domain problems you can get stuck into and hone your skills on, e.g. large-scale metadata, or AI bot behaviour – these need solving, and scaling, for a diverse set of over 60 clients in the scholarly publishing industry and wider EdTech community.
Some of our platform is a long-lived codebase of approximately 500k lines built over 10 years. Other parts are newer MVP products, are being retooled to handle our growing needs, or have opportunities to modernise.
We’re looking for someone experienced with Symfony, familiar with Go and Python, comfortable with infrastructure tools like docker and terraform, and capable of working autonomously from high-level requirements. You won’t be a cog in a machine; you’ll be building the plumbing of wider societal benefit.
